The small size of Denmark is full of cosy attractions, wonderful nature and exciting cultural experiences.
Denmark is one of the oldest kingdoms in the world and contains a variety of castles built by Kings and nobles. One of the most famous is Frederiksborg Castle, the largest Renaissance castle in Scandinavia.
One of Northern Europe’s finest Renaissance castles is Kronborg castle: the castle is famous as the setting for Shakespeare’s play Hamlet, and is on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
