How to find a job
The most common way to find work in France is to send a motivation letter and a CV to an employer. Many job vacancies are available via the French public employment service, Pôle emploi or via temp agencies, which also recruit for medium- and long-term employment contracts. Each day, on average, the Pôle emploi website displays ads for some thousands of jobs. All towns have a Pôle Emploi office which will help you in your search for a job. You can register at the office closest to where you live.
Eures advisers, who are attached to Pôle Emploi in a network dedicated to the international market, can also guide you in your search.
Here you can find your nearest office.
