EU/EEA citizens, people of Lithuanian origin or non-EU/EEA nationals who have a right of permanent residence in Lithuania can be accepted to the state-funded study places in Lithuanian higher education institutions or claim for scholarships in accordance with the procedures established by the applicable legislation. In order to apply state-funded study places, one needs to complete an application form of general admission via the website of the Association of Lithuanian Higher Education Institutions LAMA BPO.
One may also choose to apply to selected higher education institution directly (instead of using LAMA BPO admission process) but this precludes one from the option to acquire a state-funded study place.
