Traineeships
In Norway, the trainee is usually synonymous with a qualified position that is intended to be filled by the company's future managers. During the trainee period, practical and theoretical work are mixed. A trainee gets to work with different tasks in the company to learn how the business is structured and to create a network in the company.
Trainee programs are usually aimed at newly graduated students from universities and colleges as well as young professionals who have been out in working life for a few years.
The program usually lasts at least 12 months, includes rotation within the company and guarantees full time employment in a junior management position decided at the end of the program.
