Traineeships
Extra-curricular traineeship - called Arbetspraktik, "work internships" - are divided into two types: those that take place in the context of active employment policies and those "on the free market. The first kind is promoted by the employment service (Arbetsförmedlingen ), which assesses and decides whether a work placement should be granted based on the jobseeker's needs.
